About Coach

I'm on a mission to inspire and empower other women to become more, do more & live a life worthy of their calling. I have been an entrepreneur in the fitness industry for over 23 years and in the nutrition industry for 13 years. I have been able to successfully turn my passion for health and wellness into a growing career that supports my love for helping others become more. I started early in my career in the late 90s as a strength conditioning coach for gymnasts and cheerleaders where my sister and I started our own program at a local gym. In college, I became an AFFA-certified personal trainer where I started my first outdoor boot camp and in-home personal training business. In 2010, I got my CrossFit Level 1 Certification and my husband and I became co-owners of a CrossFit gym in Strongsville, OH for 4 years before leaving to focus on our growing online nutrition business. In 2016, people started joining us for workouts in our home garage gym. In less than 6months, our little group grew out of our garage and we opened the first location of Unbroken in the old fire station in Olmsted Falls. When COVID hit in 2020, we were forced out of that space. That forced change ended up being a huge blessing, Unbroken 2.0 opened in the fall of 2020 in a beautiful 5,000 sqft facility in Berea. My husband and I just bought a horse ranch in Olmsted Township. Our two kids go to Olmsted Falls Schools. Outside of the gym, we are learning how to take care of and ride horses, we love to travel, go camping, renovate houses and cheer for the Cleveland Browns.

Turning Point

When I was 18 months old I was involved in a lawn mower accident where the majority of my right foot was cut off, the doctors were able to reattach it and I've had multiple corrective surgeries over the years. Still, my right foot is 3 sizes smaller than my left, I'm missing a toe and the doctors said I would never walk normally or have a normal balance or be able to do normal physical activities like the other kids. Growing up, I was fortunate to have parents and coaches that never let me believe this was a disability or told me what I "couldn't" do. Because I was taught my foot was something special and made me stronger, that's what I did instead. The mind is so powerful, what you believe about things becomes your reality. I have spent the majority of my life learning how to elevate my thoughts.

Motivation & Passion

Sharing what I have learned on the journey to becoming the best version of myself with others is what drives me. My favorite thing is that the journey never ends. There is always room to improve, and new things to learn and share. I love knowing that all the adversity I have walked through in my life can be used for good. My biggest passion is helping others change their mindset, especially women about being strong, eating food to fuel their goals, speaking up for themselves, setting big wild goals, believing that they are good enough, and taking up space. I'm a huge believer that true change starts and lasts only by changing our thoughts. That's what I love coaching people through.
