How far have you come?
I think about how far I’ve come, but I wonder how often you think about how far you’ve come. CrossFit is a life long journey. If you don’t stop to think about the milestones you have overcome, you may be missing the point. Often I see people get so fixed on a goal that it either becomes a destination or a termination. If the goal becomes a destination people forget about the journey and once it’s achieved they never set another goal and eventually quit. If the goal becomes a termination people get so caught up in others progress they start to “perceive” that their performance is poor and eventually quit.
Don’t set a destination goal and most of all don’t allow yourself to set a termination goal. Things are not going to go your way all the time. Are you going to quit? Or are you going to see how far you can go?
